Brand and corporate identity refresh in progress

Following the change in ownership announced in 2025, Designwinds is rebuilding brand presence and corporate identity. Updated product literature, website materials, and customer-facing documents are being rolled out over Q1 and Q2 2026. Customers with active programs will receive updated documentation through their existing contacts.

Designwinds Manufacturing has transitioned ownership and is operating under new principal direction. Customer programs, supplier relationships, and engineering contacts continue without interruption. Further details will be communicated through customer-facing teams.

Microchannel coil program expansion

Brazed aluminum microchannel coil production capacity has been expanded to support transport refrigeration and commercial heat pump OEM programs. Quoting is open on new microchannel programs through standard sales channels.

Heat recovery component portfolio update

The Series 300 heat recovery component portfolio has been updated to include additional plate-and-fin recuperator configurations for energy recovery ventilator OEM customers. Updated product literature is in preparation.

Quality records system updates

Internal quality records and traceability systems have been updated to support program-specific documentation requirements on engineered-to-order work. Customers requiring program-specific retention or traceability are encouraged to discuss requirements during program engineering review.

Q4 2024

Year-end production update

Year-end production activity for 2024 closed in line with plan. Designwinds will observe standard plant shutdown over the holiday period; customer service and quoting will remain available through email for the duration of the shutdown.

Engineering review process update

Customer engineering review on engineered-to-order programs has been formalized into a documented review stage prior to quoting. The change is intended to improve consistency on design-for-manufacturability feedback and shorten quote response time on complex assemblies.

Coil production capacity update

Fin-and-tube coil production capacity has been adjusted to accommodate increased commercial HVAC OEM demand. Standard lead times are maintained on production programs; quoting is open for new programs.

Supplier and material sourcing notes

Material sourcing for copper and aluminum inputs has been reviewed for continuity of supply. No material substitutions are in effect on standard product lines. Engineered-to-order programs are reviewed individually where customer-specified materials apply.
